Silver When Old

Putting up your Christmas tree and setting seasonal objects around is quite fun. Oh no! Your favorite silver bowl is tarnished! How did this happen? Silver is a very pretty color, and it is a transition metal with lots of neat properties. The first two issues were a bit centralized around life sciences, so finally let's have an ode to element 47. Also, there is a special feature this issue running from December 1 to the 24th. It is the Science Village Advent Calendar.
