-Record temperatures for all refrigerators, freezers, and incubators on specified daily temperature forms.
-Sign off on form indicating temperatures have been recorded.
-Take specimen bottles out of refrigerator.
-Sign off on sheet the number of bottles removed from refrigerator and why.
-Collect necessary buffers from chemical shelf.
-Record exact amounts of buffers used, when, why, and how long until they expire.
-Fill out lengthy breakage form after a specimen bottle tumbles off the lab bench.
-Complete form that the spill was cleaned up according to all instructions.
-Move specimen work into laminar flow hood.
-Write out form explaining flow hood use, how long, and saw sure all sterility measures were taken and recorded.
-When finished, return specimen bottles to refrigerator.
-Fill out form that specimen bottles had been returned to the refrigerator.
-Clean all glassware used according to Standard Operation Procedure.
-Complete form indicating which glassware were cleaned and what they had been used for.
-Load cleaned glassware into autoclave.
-Fill water bath and heat it to 65ºC.
-Crack bioindicator and place into hot water bath while placing other bioindicator into autoclave with glassware.
-Fill out forms for autoclave and bioindicators, including lot numbers, lab temperature and relative humidity, time, and cycle numbers.
-Start autoclave.
-Attach autoclave print-out to form while completing it.
-Transfer bioindicator from autoclave, cracking it, to hot water bath with the other one, and fill out appropriate form.
-Label every bit of glassware from autoclave with dates, times, temperatures, and initials before putting it all away.
-Fill out form indicating glassware has all been put away.
-After enough time has passed, remove bioindicators from hot water bath and be sure the positive control is positive and the test indicator is negative, and then fill out the appropriate form and discard indicators.
-Change weekly temperature charts on all appliances in facility.
-Fill out temperature chart change forms and check every machine in lab to be sure temperatures and humidities remained within specifications during any use.
-Complete forms in the event that temperatures and humidities were out of specifications.
-Make copies of all of these forms and file them accordingly.
-Prepare some specimen bottles for off-site shipment.
-Fill out forms that bottles were so prepared, how many, and where they are going.
-Complete half a dozen forms necessary to expedite shipment, including making copies of shipping labels.
-Sign all forms in all required spaces, get permissions for label and bottle release, separate which forms stay in office and which get sent with shipment, and finally fill box with specimen bottles and send them out.
-Fill out forms indicating all shipping procedures have been carried out.
-Fill out more forms about specimen bottles inventory.
-Wipe down lab benches and equipment.
-Sign forms saying you've wiped down lab benches and equipment.
-Check chemicals for expiration dates and discard any expired ones.
-Fill out forms that chemicals have been checked for expiration dates and even more forms about the ones that were expired and had to be discarded.
-Change water in incubator trays.
-Fill out forms that water in incubator trays has been changed.
-Scrub autoclave and fill out necessary forms for that.
-Sweep and vacuum lab, followed by more signatures and forms to fill out.
-Perform daily shut down procedures: check all temperatures, lock all doors, check for leaks or floods, test alarm systems, turn off equipment, empty water baths, and turn off lights.
-Fill out myriad of forms for shut down procedures.
-Go home and kill yourself.
